Intro to Lincoln-
Douglas Debate
From nuclear war to enlightenment philosophy, Lincoln-Douglas debate (commonly known as LD) explores both the ethical issues and practical implications of contemporary, real-world problems. In this class, students will learn the art of constructing and presenting persuasive arguments, and focus on developing critical thinking and refutational skills. They will practice through various speaking and argumentation drills, practice debates, and case-writing. Join us to learn all about what LD debate has to offer!
